Something for Everyone
In 1997, Tuckerman’s Restaurant & Tavern started out as a tavern to accommodate small town libations, musical gatherings, and the quintessential Valley lifestyle. It was a counterpart of The New England Inn, where a dining room already existed, but the Hoopers wanted a bar off the side that provided music and a cool hangout spot. At the time, the kitchen had two lines, one catering to fine dining and the other to pub fare.
With an original capacity of 40 or so people, the tavern evolved into a full blown restaurant over the last 20 years. It was originally owned and run by the Hooper family with Todd Neil managing the restaurant. In 2008 the entire property was sold in April and exactly four years later to the day, son Adam Hooper and Todd Neil began to rebuild the Tuckerman’s Restaurant & Tavern everyone knows and loves today. Whether you’re looking for quiet and ambient dining or a pub and sports bar atmosphere, Todd and Adam have created a place with something for everyone. Today, Tuckerman’s Restaurant & Tavern prides itself on the values of providing quality service, exceptional food prepared entirely on site, and an all around enjoyable atmosphere for visitors and locals alike.
